Sausage Chicken & Shrimp Creole

Ingredients

  • 1 14-ounce package of Villari Brothers Natural Hardwood Smoked Sausage in Natural Casing
  • 1 14-ounce package of Villari Brothers Natural Hardwood Smoked Polish Kielbasa
  • 1 Package of Villari Brothers Smokehouse CraftedTM Chicken Breast
  • 1 pound of Shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail removed
  • 1 Medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 2 Stalks of Celery, chopped
  • 1 Cup Chicken Stock or Broth
  • 1 28-ounce Can Diced Tomatoes with Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Creole Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Hot Sauce

Directions

  1. Cut Sausage on a bias into 1/4 inch pieces. Remove bones from Chicken and cut into cubes.
  2. In a pot over medium heat combine Sausages, Chicken, Onions, Celery, and Bell Peppers. Stir while heating.
  3. When Vegetables begin to soften, add Chicken Stock, Diced Tomatoes, and all the Herbs and Spices.
  4. Let it come to a low simmer and simmer for 30 minutes. Then add Hot Sauce and Shrimp and simmer for 5 more minutes until Shrimp is cooked.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve over Cooked Rice with Crusty Bread.
