Ingredients
- 16oz Pasta of Your Choice
- 1lb Villari Mild Breakfast Sausage
- 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
- 1 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 14.5oz cans Italian Stewed Tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Dried Basil
- 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, onion, garlic, and pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until meat is fully cooked through. Drain excess liquid.
- Stir in tomatoes, cream, salt, basil, and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 7 minutes or until thick.
- Fold in pasta to sausage mixture.
- Top with remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan before serving..
