Italian Sausage Pasta

  • 16oz Pasta of Your Choice
  • 1lb Villari Mild Breakfast Sausage
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 14.5oz cans Italian Stewed Tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, onion, garlic, and pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until meat is fully cooked through. Drain excess liquid.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, cream, salt, basil, and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 7 minutes or until thick.
  5. Fold in pasta to sausage mixture.
  6. Top with remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan before serving..
