Ingredients
- 2 lbs Villari Prime Pork Butt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup pickled hot peppers (optional)
Directions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the pork butt on all sides.
- Add garlic, onion, chicken broth, vinegar, and brown sugar to the slow cooker.
- Season the pork with salt and pepper, then cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
- Shred the pork and serve on hoagie rolls with provolone cheese and pickled hot peppers.
