Ingredients
- 2 Villari Market Tomahawk Pork Chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Directions
- Season the Pork Chops: Pat the tomahawk pork chops dry. Season both sides evenly with smoked paprika, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the Chops: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Remove chops and set aside to rest.
- Make the Pan Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan. Stir in the Dijon mustard and let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Serve: Plate the pork chops and drizzle the smoky pan sauce over the top. Serve with roasted potatoes or sautéed greens for a complete meal.
