Ingredients
- 14 ounce package of Villari Brothers Smoked Sausage in Sheep Casing
- 16 ounce package Bowtie Pasta
- 16 ounces Frozen Spinach
- 1 Sweet Onion, sliced into strips
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, cut into strips
- 1 Orange Bell Pepper, cut into strips
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Sweet Basil
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 cup Beef Stock
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook Bow Tie Pasta for 2 minutes less than package instructions and drain.
- Sauté Onions and Peppers together over high heat for a few minutes; you only want them half done
- Cut Country Smoked Sausage on a bias into 1/2 inch slices.
- Add Sausage to Onions and Peppers.
- Add thawed, drained Spinach and Spices to pan and stir.
- Add Pasta, Herbs and Beef Stock and stir briefly,
- Cover and let steam for 4 to 5 minutes; remove lid and stir again
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
- Pour into serving dish and drizzle with the olive oil.
- Serve with shredded parmesan cheese on the side for those who wish to add.
