Ingredients

  • 2 Villari Prime Boneless Pork Chops
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  7. Stir well to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce thickens and becomes syrupy.
  8. Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the balsamic glaze. Allow them to simmer in the glaze for 2-3 minutes, ensuring they’re evenly coated and heated through.
  9. Serve the glazed pork chops with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad.
  10. Drizzle any remaining balsamic glaze over the pork chops before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
