Ingredients
- 2 Villari Prime Boneless Pork Chops
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Stir well to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce thickens and becomes syrupy.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the balsamic glaze. Allow them to simmer in the glaze for 2-3 minutes, ensuring they’re evenly coated and heated through.
- Serve the glazed pork chops with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad.
- Drizzle any remaining balsamic glaze over the pork chops before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
