Smoked Chicken Sweet Spice Rub

Ingredients

  • Chose:
  • 1 package Villari Brothers Smokehouse CraftedTM Fully-cooked Chicken Breasts, Wings, Drumsticks or Half Chicken
  • For the Rub:
  • 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Sea Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Hungarian Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Dill
  • Add all Rub ingredients to a large bowl and mix well. (Stored in an airtight container, Rub can be used for up to six months.)
  • For applying Rub:
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  2. Stir Mustard and Honey together and brush a thin coating on the Smoked Chicken.
  3. Sprinkle Rub on the Chicken.
  4. Heat according to heating instructions on the package.
