Ingredients
- 2 lbs Villari Prime Pork Butt
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Slider buns (12–15)
- Coleslaw (optional, for topping)
Directions
- Prepare the Pork: Rub the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Slow Cook: In a slow cooker, add the sliced onion and garlic. Place the pork on top, then pour in the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds.
- Shred the Pork: Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
- Assemble the Sliders: Lightly toast the slider buns, then pile on the pulled pork. Top with coleslaw for an extra crunch, if desired.
- Serve: Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve with your favorite game day sides!
