Pulled Pork Sandwhiches

Pulled pork sandwiches are easy to make, full of flavor and a great way to feed a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 Villari Prime Pork Butt Roast (do we need weight??)
  • 1/2 an onion
  • About 1 tbs minced garlic
  • About 7 springs rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 1 cup beef or chicken stock
  • A bunch of Broccoli rabe
  • Provolone cheese slices
  • Bread of your choice

Directions

  1. Cube your pork butt
  2. Salt and pepper the cubes
  3. Add onion, garlic and rosemary to crockpot
  4. Fill to the top of the meat with the stock
  5. Slow cook for about 10-12 hours, the longer you cook, the easier it shreds
  6. Pull your pork from the stock and start shredding with two forks
  7. Assemble sandwich
  8. Sautee rabe with olive oil, salt and pepper
  9. Toast your bread in the oven with the provolone until the cheese melts
  10. Assemble your sandwich with the rabe and the pork
  11. Yummy Yum!
