Pulled pork sandwiches are easy to make, full of flavor and a great way to feed a crowd.
Ingredients
- 1 Villari Prime Pork Butt Roast (do we need weight??)
- 1/2 an onion
- About 1 tbs minced garlic
- About 7 springs rosemary
- Salt and pepper to season
- 1 cup beef or chicken stock
- A bunch of Broccoli rabe
- Provolone cheese slices
- Bread of your choice
Directions
- Cube your pork butt
- Salt and pepper the cubes
- Add onion, garlic and rosemary to crockpot
- Fill to the top of the meat with the stock
- Slow cook for about 10-12 hours, the longer you cook, the easier it shreds
- Pull your pork from the stock and start shredding with two forks
- Assemble sandwich
- Sautee rabe with olive oil, salt and pepper
- Toast your bread in the oven with the provolone until the cheese melts
- Assemble your sandwich with the rabe and the pork
- Yummy Yum!
